**Q: Is this tent open on both sides?**
A: Sorry I don’t know. I’ve bought it as an emergency tent that will live at the bottom of my rucksack for fell walking in England. 
I’ve kept it as is so that it is as small as possible. It will only be used if I injure myself and can’t walk off mountain.

Bought this life tent to keep in the car in case of emergency to make a heat reflective shelter in case I had to leave my vehicle. Whilst the material isn’t the thickness of a tarp I really wasn’t expecting that at this price point so I’m very pleased with the product. Using a lightening deal I’m content to store this away in the boot with a camping blanket and other gear as a “just in case” product. Reading previous reviews I did take this out of the carry case and string the ridge line inside before folding it away again so it’s more or less ready to put up as soon as I need it. Due to it’s weight, size and price point I’d highly recommend this product as you never know when you might need it
