Do yourself a favor, toss the junk and buy a packet of brass wood screws for use with this surface bolt. It would have been 5 stars but like I said, the screws they packaged with it suck.

Looks great and works great but the set screw was not completely tightened. Easy fix but otherwise the latch slides off.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lockdown Ease

Excellent & inexpensive way to lockdown inside doors in the event of an active shooter situation, perfect for our application. Installer: Make sure the small setscrew that holds the spring is tightened down. I almost lost a setscrew on one of the locks during installation. The locks can be used to secure doors that swing in or out. Our doors swing out, but I recommend purchasing heavier slidelocks for doors that swing in.
