The main ingredient is black seed oil, so that is the main scent. There is not a strong onion scent most likely due to the sulfur enzymes being reduced, which I appreciate. I let it sit in my hair for a few hours then followed with a wash using The Organic Forest shampoo [containing Amla, Bhringraj, Shikakai, and vitamin e]. No conditioner necessary. My hair dries faster than it had before using these products. Also my hair appears more smooth, silky, and shiny than before. I recommend this hair oil.
