Tropican Alternative Formula provides proper daily nutrition for Adult and Senior Parrots who are diet challenged, require lower protein and fat content (versus Tropican High Peformance), have less active lifestyles or who have protein sensitivities. Alternative is a NO Corn NO Soy extruded diet made with exciting ingredients such as ground walnut, sweet potato, real maple syrup, marigold for eye health. Spit Green pea and quinoa are a premium protein source due to their high digestibility score and provide an excellent complimentary amino acid profile when combined with the other plant derived proteins found in the Alternative formula. A rich source of essential Omega 3 & 6 fatty acids from flax seed makes feather shine and helps support a healthy body. The bentonite (montmorillonite) found within the alternative formula is effective and powerful in helping ailments in parrots with sensitivities.
