## Description

Wedgie Rubber Pick Refill 3.1mm/Hard 18pcs

Review: I love these but if used with steel string guitars they wear out pretty quick. - I love the tone I get when using these - when it fits the music. I wouldn't use them to play heavy metal but on some mellower jazz/blues type music that I don't want a sharp attack on the notes played they really add to the overall sound. I find that many guitarist don't appreciate the type of pick they use has on the sound and feel of the music and use one pick for everything. More choices of picks allows more control of your sound. Just as using your finger tips vs. a pick softens and mellows the tone these picks provide another choice between the two. I wear these out (~20 - 30 hours steel strings) faster than regular picks but I wear regular picks out also - it just takes a lot longer (~100 - 500 hours) depending on the thickness and material they are made of. They last a LOT longer when playing 'gut' string classical type guitars. Another positive note is that as I age and my arthritis acts up these are a lot easier to hold on to because of the contour and thickness. The tip itself is not too thick but does (unavoidably) wear away.
Review: Nice change of sound. - Gives a nice thuddy sound. Not quite like McCartney's felt picking, or a foam insert in front of the bridge, or Rocco Prestia's palm mute technique, but easy and fun.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great fingerstyle sound for pick players
*by P***. on September 25, 2015*

These things are a lifesaver for me! I play bass, mostly hard rock, metal and thrash, but I also play at church. I love the precision of playing with a pick and I find that I get a greater range of nuance with a pick than I do with fingers. If I dig in much at all with fingers I wind up with a lot of fret clank but unfortunately I don't get much call to play Run To The Hills or Tornado of Souls at church. These picks allow me to play 10,000 Reasons without overwhelming the song while still creating the ebb and flow of the song. I can go from the very subtle, almost unheard tone to the large build-up and chorus of the song. I highly recommend these picks for folks who want to preserve their style and technique with a pick but soften up the attack dramatically. The only caveat is that I play roundwound stainless steel strings exclusively and the picks do wear pretty quickly, so buy a big pack of them, and be prepared to clean some rubber debris off your bass. All in all a small price to pay for a huge benefit, HIGHLY recommended.
