We have seen 90 lb. skaters who do flips and grinds in the skate park break down a pair of skates faster than skaters who are nearly 3x as heavy who are just learning how to stay upright in their skates. Generally speaking: as you progress up our line, skates are more durable and can handle more wear. A heavy skater who is a beginner will probably be okay in the low end of our line—but a heavier skater who has a strong skill set will to move up within our product line.
