I have decided that the series is doing for me what I want great literature to do: Make me better, wiser, more in touch, help me understand the true complexities of life. These works in this series 'The life and prayers.... are not great literature; not in the same class as say, The Autobiography of Saint Teresa of Avila (written in her own words) but they are giving me a 5 star re-vitalization of my understanding of Communion with the Saints. I did not know 98% of the information contained in this short read of Saint Anthony of Padua nor most of the prayers, which I find I am hungry for. I had underestimated this great Saint and now I understand more about his life, and who he really is, and I'm five stars better for renewing and growing and old friendship. Thanks Wyatt North for this fine 5 star work you are doing, I pray our world will be the better for it; amen. Review: A Great Read - Wow so much information and history on St. Anthony. This was because I did not have a true understanding of his works in relation to worshiping & praising God through Christ. After reading about the life of Saint Anthony by giving so much to God's people to meet their worldly needs as well as these acts of charity for the restoration of their soul, he truly lived his life as Christ asked all of us to do & that is to not hold your treasures & to be a witness by example & the powers of healing & finding lost items that mean so much to someone, Saint Anthony & others knew & acknowledged his abilities through his works were a blessing from our Lord.
