As long as the lamp has the same type of connection/mounting for the glass shade it will work. It might look funny depending on the lamp size. **Q: what is the meaning of lipless?** A: Lipless is referring to the part of the shade that sits on the lamp stand.... there is no rim, it fits flush. **Q: what color are they? I don't want stark white.** A: It is white, but not stark white. Plus the alabaster markings break it up. I am happy with this shade and it perfectly replaces one that had broken. **Q: Does this come with a locking ring? If not where can i buy one?** A: The quality of this shade is most excellent. It does not come with a locking ring. It is held in place by part of the apparatus of the fixture itself. I don't know where you would buy a locking ring.
