That did not work as the pressure was too high. The ends of both kist are Quick Detach so I just swapped them. The biggest thing you need to know is the Soda Stream bottles have a safety valve inside them that shuts off if you fill the bottles too fast. Filling it slowly is the key. I use a food scale to see that the bottle is getting heavier and also gauge how much CO2 I am putting in the bottle as it only holds 14.5 ounces of gas. Don't overfill it or the relief valve will pop rendering the bottle useless. **Q: Do you have to turn the gas off at the tank between uses or can you leave it on all the time?** A: I've had an instance when the tank leaked to empty. So I close the valve when I'm done using it. **Q: My Co2 tank has a siphon tube. Will this still work?** A: I use this with a siphon for a while.
