This would qualify the corn as organic." FALSE. Non-GMO does not = organic. My guess is that this site was likely created, owned and ran by a China-based manufacturer and/or distributor of corn-derived xylitol with the sole purpose of plopping it down under their product page (as it is here) to use deceit and misinformation to persuade potential buyers to buy their product. It's a shame. BTW, also think twice before purchasing a product labeled as "non-GMO" if it doesn't show the "Non-GMO Project Verified" seal.... especially with corn products! **Q: Is this xylitol made in usa?** A: It appears that this corn-derived product not from birch from China, is shipped to US, where its inspected, processed and packaged. I've used it in the past so was already familiar with the brand and product so went straight to what I already know and trust. I feel like the price is good for the amount in the package so am happy with my choice.This xylitol lets my husband enjoy an occasional sweet without causing his blood sugar to spike. I even carry a small container in my bag so he can order unsweetened tea and add xylitol to it to enjoy his drinks more when we eat out. And it works equally good with foods as well as drinks. Just keep in mind that, although the texture is the same as granulated sugar and it works well as a substute for sugar in recipes, it isn't quite as sweet so use extra to taste.
