Will fit my 64fl oz water bottle in the bottom compartment, and a smaller container in the top. I use 2 thin ice packs but will also fit the plastic 1 inch thick ice pack in the bottom. Little tight but it still zips. The top will fit 1/2 icepack with small container if it comes down to it, little tight but will work. I keep this cooler In my car and it still keeps it cold.
