Review: Works Well - I have a convertible with a fabric soft top and purchased this product to help protect and waterproof it. Before using this, water would leak through the top during rain or when going through the car wash. I applied this product once, about three months ago, and since then I haven’t had any leaks at all. It’s held up well over time and has been very effective. Water does not bead on the surface, which I actually prefer — it allows me to deep clean the top when needed — but it still prevents water from penetrating the fabric and gives the top a clean, sleek appearance. Before applying, I cleaned the top thoroughly with soap and water and then used a convertible top cleaner. Application was quick and straightforward. I followed the directions, and the entire process took less than 30 minutes. The spray works fine, though it’s a smaller sprayer and requires repeated spraying over smaller sections. That said, it may actually help with control and even coverage. This is my first convertible, so I was initially unsure how to properly care for the top. I’m very glad I found this product, as it resolved the issue I was having. **Q: Can this product be used on swade leather?**
A: Absolutely yes.  Make sure the leather is clean and dry before applying. Simply spray on the Car Fabric protective coating and then gently brush or wipe in to get a nice even coverage. The nano coating will not affect the look or feel of the leather.

**Q: Is the automotive version more or less powerful than the general upholstery version?**
A: There is no difference in strength between these two products. They are effectively inter-changeable and can be used on the exact same materials as each other. We differentiate solely for marketing purposes because people are usually quite specific when searching for products.

**Q: How often does this need to be reapplied?**
A: I’ve only applied it once and it works great

**Q: is it safe for dash board, vinyl. leather,rubber carpet?**

I have a convertible with a fabric soft top and purchased this product to help protect and waterproof it. Before using this, water would leak through the top during rain or when going through the car wash. I applied this product once, about three months ago, and since then I haven’t had any leaks at all. It’s held up well over time and has been very effective.
