It feels good in the appendix position when you're standing up, but if you have to bend over or sit down then it really digs in to your groin area. So I am not able to but if you have a different build then maybe you could. **Q: Will this fit my M&p 9 shield performance?** A: My S&W M&P Shield 40 cal fits perfect. I am not sure how the 9mm will fit. I have a box of holsters that I have bought over the years for many different pistols and mainly carry safari land locking OWB holsters for everyday carry... Before this I decided to try alien gear holster and didn't like it at all.... This holster can be adjusted from fall out easily all the way to the guns locked into the holster and can't be removed that adjustment is up to your liking... I prefer it set so the gun is hard to get out of the holster for security... Even with it set tight it stays attached to the belt nicely... The clip is very nice and also adjustable but it doesn't need it since it stays put without the belt on blue jeans or even pockets although that's not ideal... It fits the pistol great and covers the trigger properly... I have had a lot of holster time in my life and highly recommend it.... Especially for the price...
