Review: Works on steelseries Arctis 1 wireless headset - My Arctis 1 is a great cheap, wireless headset, but to my dismay the detachable microphone had failed. I thought I would need to get a new headset, but lo and behold desertcart sells replacement mic stems for it! It works fine. You just plug it in and it works. The quality of the sound seems about the same. The build quality seems slightly less than the original, though it's indistinguishable in operation. This comes with a foam windscreen which helps a ton with wind noise if you've got a fan running or something. I had to buy my own for the original mic that didn't come with one. For the price, this is fantastic and is a great buy if you're frugal and want to extend the life of your cheap headset. Note: If you have weird disconnecting issues with the Arctis 1 wireless headset on your PC, make sure the secret hidden switch on the back of the dongle is set to PC and not XBox, because I had horrible problems for like a whole year until that was set correctly. If that switch is set properly, it detects the dongle as a device and works exactly as expected.
