**Q: Hocan you freeze mres long do they last?**
A: NEVER freeze MRE's. Shelf life for the most part under normal storage temperatures should give you 8 to 10 years. I've consumed some that were 15 years old and they were fine.

**Q: Why does the pic show a 2/21 inspection date when it is not yet February?**
A: The inspection date is three years after the pack date and is generally the midway point of the shelf life of 5-7 years.

**Q: Is containerized water needed to prep included with each meal?**
A: No. Water is not included in the MRE pouch. Meals can be eaten without heating if necessary but a water source is needed to activate the heater.

**Q: What are the dimensions of the box?**
A: Hello, roughly 16" x 10" x 10"
