A: A three way speaker typically will have a fuller sound with lows, mids & highs. A two way speaker of similar quality may be lacking in mids.

**Q: Can you piggy back these? Hook one to the other.**
A: Hey Guys..

I think the question might be..can I hook 2 speakers together, and not hurt anything...All the Rockville speakers have the daisy chain capability..The problem would be what being feed back to the Amp...a stand alone speaker rated at 8 ohm..would provide about 8 ohm of restance to the AMP..eerything good..2 speakes daisy chained together would now provide 4 ohms back to the amp...oops..if the AMP isn't designed to handle 4 ohms of impedance..you will have a mismatch, and could overload the amp...hopefully it will only be a fuse blown..now the math get kinda crazy...a 3rd speaker @8 ohms of impedance will offer 2 ohms of impedance..which creates even more stress on the AMP out section...That being said...always look at the manf. specs of the AMP out put..some will show 8 ohm and 4 ohm load and sometimes a 2 ohm load..Which means you amp is fairly versatile..
