However, it's been years since I had meat and I didn't know if it just tasted good to me because I hadn't had the real thing in a while or if it legitimately tasted like the real deal. My best friend is very picky with his food and doesn't like to try anything new. The first time I used the "beef" flavor to make spaghetti with ground "beef," he didn't believe me it was vegan. I made him some to take to work and he was telling anyone who would listen or taste it how it was his favorite meal and there was no meat! He always goes back for seconds and has said he now wants to decrease his meat intake because he never feels stuffed or too heavy after eating it.
