Well the sound quality on FM is exceptional too, you have to hear it to believe it. On Shortwave the tuning is spot on , fine tuning and adjustable bandwidths are great for picking out those weaker stations. SSB reception on SW is so much easier than earlier radios I have used, no twiddling of a BFO knob on this radio , once you get on frequency it’s already set up for you.It also comes with a very nice robust carrying box … when doing a comparison with other dealers make sure they are offering this as part of the package as most I checked out aren’tIt also comes with an SSD card included … but I haven’t tried that yet.This radio certainly has the “WOW” factor and is certainly worthy of 5 Stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tecsun 990 *by M***B on 11 December 2022* I got this radio because I wanted to scan shortwave to see what's out there.
