A: No.  RF  is only for EOS R cameras. 

There is an EF 50mm STM that is half the price that will adapt to an M50.

A: No. Este modelo solo funciona en la linea mirrorless de canon! RP, R, R6 y R5

**Q: Does it come with the lens Hood?**
A: No, Canon only includes a lens hood with the more expensive L-model 'professional' lenses.

**Q: Will this fit on rebel eos t7 or t7i?**
A: No! If you need a 50mm lens for your Rebel, Just get the EF version that canon has been making for years and years. (EF 50mm f1.8 STM). It fits on crop-sensor with a 1.6X crop so it will be an 80mm equivalent field of view. It is also only $125 now that the RF version is  basically replacing it.

The Canon RF 50mm F1.8 STM lens has exceeded my expectations. It’s compact, lightweight, and delivers excellent image quality for the price. The wide f/1.8 aperture creates beautiful background blur (bokeh) and performs very well in low-light conditions, making it ideal for portraits, street photography, and indoor shooting. The autofocus is fast and quiet thanks to the STM motor, which also makes it a good choice for video. While the body is made of plastic, it feels solid and is very comfortable to use with RF-mount cameras like the EOS R50.
