Product Description Kattovit Feline Diet Kidney / Renal - Renal Insufficiency. To support kidney function in chronic renal failure and to reduce oxalite stone formation. Kattovit Feline Diet - Kidney / Renal has been specially developed to provide cats with a reduced protein content through the use of high-quality protein in an easily digestible composition. High protein content can have a damaging effect on the kidneys. The decisive factor is the protein content based on the amount of energy. In contrast to conventional feed, Kattovit Kidney / Renal only provides about half of the energy by protein. The enrichment with potassium citrate has a urinary alkalizing effect and can thus prevent oxalate crystal formation (oxalate prophylaxis). The content of phosphorus is reduced. Indications Chronic renal failure Ingredients Meat and animal by-products (including 25% chicken), cereals, minerals (0.2% potassium citrate), oils and fats, brewer's yeast. Protein sources: 25% chicken, 11% liver, 10% poultry, 6% lamb, 10% rice (cooked). Directions Wet feed - Wet cat food was designed as a complete diet food for adult cats. The recommended feeding time is initially up to 6 months. The exact feeding recommendation and duration of use should be agreed with a veterinarian.
