I’ve worked in kitchens for decades and I can tell you that better tools are not always designed to merely out perform in terms of durability, but to also make the mechanical aspects of your work more pleasing. If it is neglected, like any other type of blade, it will dull and rust. It cuts smoother and easier than any other shears I’ve ever used, but fine edges require a bit more mindfulness during use and more maintenance. As long as you’re willing to take on a little more burden and spend more money, then these shears will be a pleasure to use for a lifetime.

Fantastic quality! But you have to learn to handle and care for them.
