They are about 25 years old, but still in great condition. For a long time I've needed some good replacement strainer/stoppers for the sinks. I've bought several of different styles which said they were "universal"... meaning they fit all sinks. Those did a good job of straining (letting water run through them), but they were not good stoppers... and sometimes you NEED the sink to hold water for various purposes. I looked on Amazon to find one that looks just like the only original sink/stopper I have left. I selected these VARNAHOME strainers/stoppers, ordered three of them, and they came today. They look very much like my original one, but the best part is that they really do hold water in the sink! The spring clip holds tightly with no leaks. The construction is solid and it feels like it will last for a while.
