I do not wear these with shoes but they seem a bit thick so if you are looking for compression socks to wear with dress shoes, these may not work. They could substitute for regular cotton socks so if you are looking for something to wear while jogging or working out, these could fit your needs. They are a size bigger than I expected. I wear a size 12 shoe so I bought the XL. Next time I will buy a size smaller. It is not a problem since I do not wear these while exercising or running but my next pair will be worn while biking so I will go with the L. Overall these are a great product. Then after forty eights hours, I took them off and threw in the washing machine and they shrank. I couldn't wear them after that. These are by the best pair I have bought. I will be buying another few pairs. Much easier to put on than other compression socks. I have flat, wide feet and bunions on both feet. I would never win a contest for the prettiest foot. The socks actually have padding where my bunions run on my boots. After one day of wearing them at work the soreness in my feet was almost non-existent after work. The padding on the bottom is a bonus and helps with cushioning. I see some reviews that people are complaining about the big logo on the socks. Big deal. If they work, are comfortable, and help your feet who cares what they look like. I actually like the logo.
