If you are truly brunette, you want that. Original review: I ordered this in neutral brown. It really does work. It looks like there is nothing in the tube and (thankfully) it has a tiny little brush. I have pretty thick, dark brows with a couple of thinner spots. When I applied this, it gave me a natural look, allowed me to fill in the thinner bits, but it gives me a really strong brow, which I don't like. It's a personal preference, I think it really does exactly what it is supposed to. I have seen complaints that this is dried up or looks used. I can see where someone can get that impression, but it's just made so you get a very sparing dose at a time. You can definitely build up. And I think it is great that you can start off slow so you don't end up with woolly caterpillars on your forehead. I also resisted the impulse to buy dark brown because all the beauty advice says to go lighter than you think with your brows. That is very true. If I didn't think, after using this, that I prefer my natural brows anyway, I might even have tried taupe, even though I think my eyebrows are actually dark brown. So, even though I am not going to use this product, I think it is very effective, does what it says and is definitely worthwhile if you want bigger brows, or darker brows, or want to change their natural shape. It also does a great job of holding the natural hairs in place, so I am thinking I might try a clear gel next time. This is my first time with a brow mascara. I have tried pencils and powders in the past and found pencils way too visible and powders invisible and hard to apply.
