The temperature switching was consistent and predictable during testing. Since this is an old school manual control, the reported temperature seems about as correct as I can tell. Based on prior experience with this style of thermostat, they are generally pretty accurate, but it is hard to ever know or prove exactly how precise they are. There is no fine-grain scale for setting or reading temperature, so you are working within a reasonable range rather than dialing in an exact number. This thermostat does not use any batteries. Because of that, there is no display brightness adjustment or extra configuration options. The only setting is the temperature where it activates the heat. Depending on how you want to look at it, the battery life is eternal, immortal, or infinite since there are none to replace. There are a couple of things worth noting.
