A: Though the bottle says treatment you do use it like a conditioner so yes it is basically a after shampoo conditioner.

I love these shampoos, all the scents. I have very long and thick hair and when I wash it I braid it. I can go days without washing my hair again, and when I take the braid out, my hair still smells wonderful. This is just great shampoo. My hair is soft and shiny from this lovely product.
