Review: No aftertaste, great sugar substitute - NOTE: this is a monk fruit-erythritol mix, NOT pure monk fruit extract. However, it makes me feel better knowing that it's certified organic. I've been using monk fruit/erythritol for a while now to cut down on sugar for health reasons (candida overgrowth being one of them), and although you can't always substitute it into recipes that use sugar for its chemical properties (traditional pectin preserves, caramelizing, etc.), it does work well for most things. I've baked lots of stuff with it (mug cakes, muffins) and put it into protein shakes and stuff. It seems to dissolve okay, about as well as sugar at least. Much more expensive though, but NOW brand usually has better prices. If you are very taste-sensitive, it's possible you will notice a difference in flavor, but for me it's not really noticeable.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This WAS a great product... But NOW is not!

This product was WONDERFUL, but now it has been reformulated to contain erythritol (and some monkfruit) instead of monkfruit and allulose. New research suggests that erythritol may be associated with cardiovascular decease, whereas allulose and monkfruit are fruit derivatives (monkfruit is a Chinese fruit and allulose exists in dates). Erythritol is derived from cane sugar. I am including pictures of the PRODUCT I BOUGHT. Please note that this is NOT the product you can buy now because only the reformulated version is available. I give the new product with erythritol a TWO STAR review.
