I’ve had polyester microfiber sheets before — it’a like sleeping & sweating in a plastic cocoon. These sheets are not cool —nor cooling. I looked at several brands and the reviews for these looked good and a nice middle range price. I also needed very deep pockets and the dimensions seems to suggest the sheets would stay in place.I am so disappointed in what I got. Sheets are thin; maybe that is the nature of bamboo. Not near as soft as I expected or even close to my nice cotton sheets.To top it off, while the pockets were large enough to go over my mattress and topper, the elastic is so week and flimsy the corners kept popping off. Yes, these are soft and thin -- but the worst part is that they are SO silky that nothing stays on the bed -- blankets, quilts etc. They slide off all night! I had satin sheets long ago and had the same thing happen -- we could not use them because everything slips off the bed while sleeping. These are the same. They feel like silky microfiber -- not bamboo. I have to order something different.
