I realized very quickly that the chalk would not stick well to my chalkboard's smooth surface, but I didn't want to use paint or anything permanent. I was glad to find these chalk markers. They write easily, just like paint pens, but remove effortlessly with a wet paper towel, leaving no trace behind.
