I had prostate cancer and had it removed and still had cancer left for me to go through radiation. Both has caused me to leak especially more when I work and bend and these did not work for me. These are for really minor leaks and was disappointed in them. But I think these are excellent if you leak less then 3/4 of a oz. The package says it holds a oz but I tested it with oz of water and in no way would I trust travelling If you leak a oz. They are comfortable and can be washed and reused many times. If your leakage is moderate or more, these are insufficiently absorbent. However, they are still very useful because the cup that catches the leakage holds a pad in place very firmly and the hardish cover to the pad prevents any leakage from wetting the front of your pants. That is the good news and it is good news on net. Any leakage beyond what a pad can absorb still has to go somewhere, and that is toward the area between the genitals and anus, but at least it is not noticeable. So, use directly if leakage is limited and use as a firm pad holder that prevents embarrassing leakage in front. He does not fight me about wearing them and says they are comfortable even though at first he could not understand why the front pocket seemed a little bulky. It has definitely saved on my laundry bill. The only thing I can say that I wish were better is that after several uses they do tend to hold a little of the urine smell even after washed.
