This is an inexpensive head magnifier that has to balance strength and durability while maintaining light weight as to make it bearable to wear for extended periods of time. In that regard, this is an excellent head lamp but don't expect it to hold up to a 6ft fall onto concrete that well. Also, the flip down lens and the side monocle need to be handled with a bit of care. The retaining clip for the flip down lens, that increase magnification over the main lens, can break if over bent. Also the monocle is held on with one screw that can have a tendency to back out. They could have used a slightly higher grade plastic for this but it's serviceable to the handy even with it's minor drawbacks. I don't think you'll find better in this price range.
