Review: Serious considering replacing qAcoustics with Cambridge Audios - Bought for my mother as Christmas gift. When set up with Technics receiver I was blown away by the quality of sound. Bass and treble are very distinct with vocals crystal clear. Other more expensive speakers may provide better quality but for £250 you cannot go far wrong with these Cambridge Audio. I have a Technics receiver myself and have a pair of QAcoustics playing through but I am seriously considering purchasing these Cambridge Audio as replacements.

**Q: Can i use these speakers with a 6 ohm denon rdcm 41 amp?**
A: Yes. The speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms, so they are easy to drive and they have a sensitivity of 89 db. this means they will sound louder at a lower volume but be careful with positioning, keep them away from corners as the bass becomes boomy. I would recommend an amp with at least 30 watts RMS per channel.

**Q: can i use bear speaker wire to connect these to my marantz**
A: Yes I think so. The banana plug sockets (which I have used with my cables) on the rear of the speakers double as screws, so you could loop the wires round the terminals, and simply screw them down. Obviously take care that you mark them left and right, pos and neg, and all should be well.

**Q: I have a creek 4240 british integrated amp, output i think 60-80 watts, and it uses banana plug ended speaker cable. would these cas be a good match?**
A: Yes!

**Q: Would these be a good match for the Rotel a11 tribute.**
A: Yes, the SX-60's are compatible with the mentioned amplifier.

They sound great. No expect here, but compared to some cheaper speakers, there is a huge difference. Using with Sony STRDH190 Amplifier. No distortion and powers them really well.
