I am happy to say my quest is over. This bag is wide enough to accommodate the long, rectangular Rubbermaid-type storage containers and wide enough to accommodate a round bowl-type container. The interior is lined and does a good job of keeping my food cold until ready to eat, anywhere from 4-7 hours. There are two pocket-like containers inside, which I suppose is for holding canned beverages. Placing cans in there, however, diminishes the space for the food container. Fortunately, the bag itself is tall enough that you can stand the can on top of your food container if that is your preference, and wide enough that you can lay the can alongside the container. There is an outer zip pocket that can be used for storing utensils, condiments, napkins, or even the shoulder strap (folded in; it is not detachable) if you prefer to use the top handle. Considering I had looked at Ebags, LL Bean, Land's End, Costco, and other merchants, this is the best size for accommodating everything. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great durable lunch box *by R***B on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 5, 2016* Although this cooler has come with an ice pack, I have not utilized them at this point. The lunch pack is very durable, fairly scrunchable when empty for the materials thickness, and does keep the contents cold. It is rather large, and does have some ability to stuff beyond the noted dimensions.My only complaint is that the 'shoulder' (or long) strap is not removable. Typically I do not carry my lunch like a satchel/purse. Thus, it is always dangling oddly, or tied around the box. I have avoided cutting the piece off entirely to avoid any fraying or damage to the pack, because it is great. This isn't a complaint about the product so much as the design. Otherwise, I would recommend this item to anyone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heavy duty lunch tote *by H***O on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 3, 2016* I was bit weary about purchasing a lunch pack from the internet. With that being typed, I took the risk and purchased this anyway. The size is a bit awkward but it works out perfect because I am able to fit two square snap-lock glass containers and it holds the weight very well. I am also able to put in a small vitamin container, fork and knife, and 2 fruits with the other 2 large containers. I don't really use the ice pack it came with because the lunch pail fits in the fridge.
