In pictures it looks like small sicks are brighter. Large ones look more for landscape.** A: I have the larger box, and I use the colors for all my color needs., not only landscape. I believe this is a good question for the seller. The product is excellent and I relayed always on materials from this seller to being very good. **Q: Are these opaque when ground or transparent?** A: Opaque comes from the lights. I will change the pictures at once. **Q: Are these made with plaster or animal glue?** A: These are made of different natural mineral with bone glue or oxhide gelatin **Q: Can you tattoo with them like horiyoshi the 3 does** A: I have no idea, sorry. But I wouldn’t advise it because pigments often contain heavy metals - which is how many are derived, such as cadmium, cobalt, etc. ## Frequently Bought Together - Easyou Hukaiwen Ink Block 12 Colors Pigment Ink Stick Set for Chinese Japanese Traditional Pigment Color Calligraphy and Painting Drawing Small - PH PandaHall Chinese Calligraphy Inkstone with Ink Stick Traditional Chinese Ink Stones Sumi Drawing Ink Dish Ink Well Ink Tray for Chinese New Year Couplets Traditional Calligraphy Practice Painting - Hukaiwen Ink Block Handmade Oil Smoke Ink Stick for Chinese Japanese Calligraphy and Painting Jbh 31g --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/23433058-hukaiwen-ink-stick-12-colors-smoke-ink-block-for-chinese](https://www.desertcart.us/products/23433058-hukaiwen-ink-stick-12-colors-smoke-ink-block-for-chinese) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
