**Q: What do you mean by 3counts? This order comes with 3boxes?**
A: The past two shipments have each contained only one box of 4 glycerin suppositories, so I've been charged $17+ (with estimated tax) for one box rather than three. Both orders have been shipped from Amazon, and the first time, they wanted me to return the package. The second time I can't get past the automated customer service. Perhaps they should use the now 16 missing units on their staff to clear their minds and motivate them to pay attention. Dare to dream.

A: Hello Amazon Customer, thank you for your post. Directions for using product are as follows: REMOVE ORANGE PROTECTIVE SHIELD BEFORE INSERTING. Hold unit upright, grasping bulb of unit with fingers. With steady pressure, insert tip into rectum with a slight side-to-side movement, with tip pointing toward naval. Do not force the applicator tip into rectum. Insertion may be easier if person receiving suppository bears down as if having a bowel movement. Squeeze the bulb until nearly all liquid is expelled. Remove tip from rectum and discard unit. It is not necessary to empty unit completely. The unit contains more than the amount of liquid needed for effective use. If you have additional questions you may call us toll-free at 1-866-255-6960 Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm, EST.

**Q: How long after inserting do you have before getting on the toilet? Does all the stool evactuate at once?**

If you're reading reviews for these suppositories, then you must be in trouble - and I'm so sorry! The good news is that these little gems really do work! There is nothing as distressing as having the urgent need to go, but you can't because everything feels all hard and backed up. The passing of the fecal matter, when it finally happens, is super stressful and extremely painful. I had just such a situation and have treated it with a multifaceted approach: 1) Make yourself drink water regularly. Set an alarm if you have to, but you must stay hydrated! 2) Eat plenty of fibrous vegetables to add bulk. I've taken fiber supplements, since I don't eat that much anymore, 3) Stool Softeners are super helpful - my doctor recommended Colace, and 4) If you get jammed up, try these easy to use glycerine suppositories. They're tiny! Just pull the cap off the stem, insert according to the package directions, squeeze the bulb to insert the glycerine, pull it out and discard the little bulb with stem, then you wait. Stick close to the bathroom, because this can work as fast as just a few minutes. Try to hold it as long as you can so that water can be drawn into the colon. The next thing you know, you are going to feel so much better! Consider having some Witch Hazel pads handy if there is too much discomfort afterwards - they can provide tremendous relief for raw and irritated areas. These things come in a package of four for around $5 or thereabouts. Considering the alternative - a trip to the Emergency Room - I'd say that these are an excellent value for the fast relief that they provide. Definitely a must-have for the home medicine kit!
