Review: Life Saver!! - I have a fairly rare auto-immune issue called Delayed Pressure Urticaria which involves getting painful deep tissue hives due to extended pressure on any body part. I primarily have issues with my feet that have always showed up a couple days after a long day on my feet, walking in sandals, or wearing cleats, etc. . . I have had issues with this for 20 years and tried tons of different orthotics/arch supports/inserts/etc. . (not correctly diagnosed for the first 15 because everyone thought the issues were related to my high arches). I stumbled on these about 5 years ago and they made an absolute huge difference for me. I buy a new pair every time i buy a new pair of shoes and immediately swap our the junk inserts the manufacturers use for these. The combination of arch support and cushioning has dramatically reduced my issues. I still have problems occasionally (especially when i am braking in a new pair of shoes) but i am at least 90% better with these. Couple nit picks that i wish were better - the red part on the bottom can get pretty sticky, and a lot of junk sticks to it. This isn't really a problem unless you are swapping these to another pair of shoes (which i have to do sometimes for snow boots or something). It also leaves some red color on the bottom of your shoes (which also isn't really a problem as you would never see it if you put the original inserts back in. Also i wish they lasted a bit longer than they do. i tend to wear out the surface of these a bit before my shoes wear out (overall i am pretty hard on inserts and shoes though).
Review: Helps with PF - In an effort to help others with plantar fasciitis, let me tell you what worked for me after 8 months of PF, 2 dr visits and 4 weeks of PT -- it wasn't the dr and PT, although my physical therapist did help. PT had me do ankle pumps (30 when I wake up each morning) and eccentric calf raises every other night 3 x 12 with an aerobic stepper (KLB Sport 27" Adjustable Exercise Equipment Step Platform). Every other night 3 x 12 x 2 of the first two exercises with this ProStretch Calf Stretcher and Foot Rocker (The Original). I continue to do all of these every other night. While conti8nuing that I have used a let's try everything approach to end this ASAP. While the exercises have helped what really put me from 70% better to 95% was the following: Plantar Fasciitis Posterior Night Splint (MARS Wellness) -- much better than an earlier one I had tried from Futuro. This looks big and bulky but actually is more comfortable at night. The futuro also made parts of my foot go numb. Beurer Foot Massager With Built in Heat Function, Shiatsu like Features -- use this 45 mins a day at night with heat. I use it lightly at first until the foot warms up (5-10 mins) then apply pressure to the heel area. PT explained there are ligaments and fibers that need to be disrupted/torn up a bit in the heel. This works wonders for that. It is a bit painful at first but the heel gets numb as you gently increase the pressure down on the heel.. I hope to not need to do this forever, so far about 1 week, and it seems to be helping a lot. Sof Sole Arch Full Length Comfort High Arch Shoe Insole for Men and Women -- I also tried and like SuperFeet orange and yellow. These to me are better as the heel is cushioned. I use these now in all my shoes and footwear. They help but the are not a cure. Hopefully once I am back to 100% these will help stave off future flare ups. Fish oil supplement -- 1 per day. This is an anti-inflammatory without the long term problems of using an NSAID daily. Penetrex Pain Relief Therapy -- not sure it does anything but am continuing to try this. If nothing else it feels good to apply 2 or 3 times a day. TheraBand Foot Roller -- PT recommended this but I did not find it helpful. It does not allow enough pressure on the heel to disrupt whatever is going on there that needs to change. I replaced use of this with the Beurer Foot Massager which for me works much better. I hope this helps someone else with these issues. I am hoping this regimen will fully cure the problem in another 2-3 weeks.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hi. This says it's for people with a high arch. Why wouldn't it be right for a person with flat feet that is trying to improve their arches? Thanks.**
A: You won't know til you try. I had been buying inserts supposedly for flat feet. I have extremely flat feet. My doctor sent me for physical therapy because of ankle pain. The therapist analyzed my gait and said I needed more arch support to correct my over pronation. I now use supports made for high arches and find I need the firm support. No more ankle pain.

**Q: I have flat feet and usually use Superfeet green, but they are too expensive. Would this be a good alternative or are there better options for me?**
A: I have a high arch and they give me the support I need, since I am on my feet all day long. I love them and will buy more for my other boots. Not sure if they will work for flat feet, but they really work for me.

**Q: Do you need to remove your originial shoe insoles to use these?**
A: Yes, I remove the soles that come with the shoes. I put them on top of new Sof Sole and trim with scissors for exact fit.

**Q: Can I throw these through the washer? They are extremely smelly and dirty... baking soda isn't enough. They need a deep clean! Washer?**
A: I've only hand washed these using Palmolive dishwashing detergent; but have had no problems doing that. I can't speak for putting them in the washer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feels like a new shoe.
*by K***Z on December 11, 2015*

Just received this and opened it right up. They do not have lines for the sizes as guides to cut them down. Bummer! They are pretty close to size 9. I got these for my Skechers Steel Toed Work Boot. I took out the stock inserts and lined them up with these and used it as a guide to cut it to match the stock insert. It was too big to fit right out of the box. I have a size 8 1/2" foot but usually wear a size 9 in shoes. Putting these in this shoes made the shoe fit me better. The arch support is pretty drastic and i am still getting used to it. But overall they are a lot more soft than the stock inserts. I feel like i bought a new shoe. It is going to take some insetting used to but i am sure my feet will appreciate the support they give. UPDATE: Have had them on for 5 hours now and my foot is getting used to them. They feel even better now. My foot wasn't used to extra arch support but it is liking the added support. Feels really good on the arches. I will be buying these from now on. SOLD! Get you some!
