Product Description Capricorn Premium Bowden PTFE Tubing 1 meter XS Series 1.75MM Capricorn Premium XS bowden Tubing is enhanced with a proprietary blend of high performance additives. It was developed specifically for 1.75mm filament with an extremely precise internal diameter. Capricorn PTFE is well regarded as the highest quality PTFE tubing in all of 3D printing. The tight tolerances make sure that the filament is lead directly to the hotend with as little room for error as possible between the extruder and the hotend. Capricorn PTFE XS Series is rated for withstanding the highest temperatures in the market which is perfect for printing exotic filaments such as ABS, Nylon, and Polycarbonate. Package includes 1 x 1M Capricorn Premium XS bowden Tubing 2 x PC4-M10 Pneumatic Fittings 2 x PC4-M6 Pneumatic Fittings 1 x Tubing Cutter Attention: Small parts, keep away from children. ID: 1.95mm ± 0.05mm OD: 4.0mm Heat resistant, difficult to carborize. High melting point & low friction coefficient. Review: So much better than the standard tubing. - This tubing allows the filament to run better and last longer in hot ends that have the tube run through them. I have used on both an Ender 6 and Ender 3. On the Ender 6 the Bowden tube run is so much longer and was prone to have retraction and flow problems when the tube was slightly worn as the filament would drag a bit inside it. Using this tube reduced the friction and made flow and retraction more consistent. It's also a lot better when run inside the hot end. It does not degrade so quickly so printing stayed better much longer when running higher temp filaments like petg. It's obviously not as good as having an all metal hot end or direct drive but it helps (I also recommend using this between direct drives and all metal hot ends as well as I think it has made a minor difference).

Excellent piece of essential equipment for a 3d printer. Easy to replace existing tube and works perfectly.

This tubing allows the filament to run better and last longer in hot ends that have the tube run through them. I have used on both an Ender 6 and Ender 3. On the Ender 6 the Bowden tube run is so much longer and was prone to have retraction and flow problems when the tube was slightly worn as the filament would drag a bit inside it. Using this tube reduced the friction and made flow and retraction more consistent. It's also a lot better when run inside the hot end. It does not degrade so quickly so printing stayed better much longer when running higher temp filaments like petg. It's obviously not as good as having an all metal hot end or direct drive but it helps (I also recommend using this between direct drives and all metal hot ends as well as I think it has made a minor difference).

Easy fit and tighter tolerance than a standard ptfe tube, this one came with a cutter to ensure a nice square end. Just be sure to measure your requirements for length, not so long its flapping all over but not so short it's being pulled or kinked when your hotend is at the limits. Works well and keeps that filament flowing smoothly. There may be other options but this works well for me, just be careful not to run it at very high temperature or it will off gas. All ptfe does it so its not a fault of the product, just do your research before buying to ensure its right for your purpose.
