And then he's off to run the neighborhood and sad to say that the folks like to drive like there's no speed limit around here. He especially wants to go visit a particular dog (a St. Bernard for Pete's sake 🙄) that he doesn't like and our guy is just impossible to catch until he gets his fill and is ready to come home.So you can see how important it is for us to find a harness that actually is escape proof and offers the different places to hook your lead to. This one does it all! And it offers the heavy duty handles to help him to cross over puddles (or for a Senior dog, it would work to help up a curb or up/down steps) and then the other handle on the back end of it to grab on to make them stop pulling, in case they are trying to drag you & give You the walk!So! It is made very well. It is strong and durable. And it adjust quite well to my 6 month old 11 lb Yorkie. She hasn’t quite gotten the walking on a leash next to mama thing down. She pulls, she stops to smell the sidewalk every five steps. She will just stop and lye down. All the other harnesses would pull on he shoulders and neck. This one however is built to fit a dog with comfort, the straps are padded. It has a handle on the back side and a loop on the end in the rear it has a metal loop under her neck and one on top. I found that for my dog I thread the leash through the handle on the back then attach it to the loop on the end. I can control her much better. I can even pick her up by the handle and it doesn’t bother her at all. It is very comfortable for her. I’m so glad I took a chance on this one.
