The primasole folding yoga mat is 4 mm thick, making it very light, and it folds to a compact size of 10 Inch x 12 Inch. It is made with an embossed, cushioned, and comfortable.

Review: Perfect travel mat! Lightweight, large enough, good grip - This actually wasn't my first choice for a travel mat, but it was the only one that would arrive overnight to the hotel where I was staying. It's perfect for a travel mat! It's not the lightest weight one (which is why it was my second choice), but it's still way lighter than the mat I use at home. It's a decent thickness to provide some padding, and if it's not enough you could always use it on top of a beach towel or something for additional padding. For me, the main thing is grippiness. I thought I could just do yoga anywhere but I tried it in the hotel room on a beach towel and it was terrible, because my hands and feet kept slipping in poses like down dog. This mat has great grip, and really I think that's the main thing you need to do yoga anywhere. It folds up so it's easy to throw in your carryon bag, which a rolled mat wouldn't be. I did notice a faint rubber smell on it when my face is close, like in child's pose, but it's not strong or too chemical, just smells like rubber. I hope that will start to fade but we if it doesn't, it's not a deal breaker. Glad I got this!

**Q: is it washable?**
A: Yes, but please don’t put it in a washer/dryer. The recommendation is to wipe it down after use and not avoid using harsh chemicals stuff.

**Q: Its not 1/4 inch thick. it’s 1/8. deceptive?**
A: This mat is 1/4 inch thick as stated. It folds to half an inch when folded down the middle and about 3.5 inches tall when totally folded. 
I use it for yoga travel when I teach and appreciate the size and weight.

**Q: Does this mat come with a travel bag?**
A: No.   It does not come with a bag.

**Q: Is the PVC material this is made with toxic?**
A: PVC due to its nature is a toxic product. I would suggest you Google how it is manufactured.

It is an excellent product. It is a bit bulky. Not as slim as shown on online. It fits inside the carryon spread across. Fully folded takes too much space. Has enough cushion. The width is almost the same as the regular one. I liked it. It serves it need. I think is durable. Good stability. The smell doesn't really matter to me because it will go away. I would purchase another one. I had to leave mine abroad because of the space. I couldn't bring it back.
