Just be careful as you may leave the valve in a position where the water would spray in an unanticipated direction when you turn on the faucet. We ALWAYS leave the valve in the FAUCET direction by default. But, you can have water coming out both ways. From the hose and the faucet simultaneously. **Q: Can you direct connect the hose to the sink without the diverter? I want it on the hose 24x7 without the need to change over all the time.** A: The converter is connected to the faucet. You can convert it once (push the converter to right) and keep it that way. You won't have to push it again. It is very good hose attachment. I love it. **Q: Is the sink faucet hose attachment easy to set up?** A: Yes.The instructions were very easy to follow. This one is pretty good, ez to install but there's a couple of things to watch for. The sprayer button default is on, not off which has made a mess a few times. I didn't use the mount because it's adhesive and not really easy to find a place.
