With a bit of experimentation you will get 100% perfect toast/breads exactly to your liking. We used Dualit toasters at work so I wanted one from home due to the longevity. This is a 'Lite' version but hopefully will also last a long time. Yes its expensive for a toaster, other named brand versions can be had for less but I was happy to pay what I did, £75 because so far it works to well. It looks very well built, the elemenets in particular lok thicker and more robust than the ones in the much cheaper (£7 on offer!!!) Aldi Ambio one it replaces. That will be going in the caravan. Unfortunately it didn't appear to toast both slices evenly. We have now just realised why. One of the cage parts was stuck against the element. Released it by pulling it away from the side. Hopefully it will continue to work satisfactorily . There must be a fault somewhere that allows this to happen.
