It is very thick and my mouse glides very easily. It keeps my desk neat and clean and the colors are amazing! There is not any wrist support, but that wasn’t what I was going for when I purchased it, so it was perfect for what I wanted it for. The texture is nice and it has a lot of padding. It holds up great! My mouse glides nice and easy so for me to move my mouse around quickly it works great! If you are looking to add a little color and support to your home office, this is a great pad! Very thick and holds up great!

**Q: Water repellent material?**
A: Yes it is.

**Q: How can I get rid of the smell?  I've run it through the washing machine, but the smell is still strong enough to make me feel nauseated.**
A: I left mine to air out in my back room for a few days. It no longer smells.

**Q: Can you wash this? If so what is the recommended means of doing so**
A: I have not had to wash it yet. If I do have to wash it, I will spot clean with soapy water. If that does not work, I will soak in soapy water and hand wash it.  Most likely not soak for more than 10 minutes.  Will use cold water and dishwashing liquid.
