Review: Henna oil for hair. - I have been using this oil to soften my coarse 4b hair and it works. I love the fragrance which is hard to describe. It is a bit like cloves and a bit herbal. For an oil it isn’t greasy at all and is absorbed by hair and scalp quickly. I use it 3x a week and have had significant hair growth. For a real hair treat mix with the Amla oil and some castor oil. This combo left my hair super shiny and soft.

It’s smells like clean flowers. I have very kinky curly coily type 4 hair and this is my favorite hair oil. It leaves my hair so moisturized. I love ayurvedic hair care and I know the herbs can be strong in scent at times, but I could not get with the smell of this oil. I can’t describe it. My husband said it smelled fine, but every time I get a whiff I all I can say is UGH! It’s great if you do hot oil treatments prior to shampooing your hair. That’s what I’m using it for now. Other than the smell, it is a light weight oil and it’s hydrating, good at sealing in moisture. I am looking forward to trying other oils from this brand.
