Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on February 4, 2023 Size: 8 OZColor: WhiteVerified Purchase NOW Pet Health, L-Lysine Supplement has been a game changer for my FIV + cat. My vet recommended my cat Stripe take Lysine to help with his chronic respiratory infections and nasal symptoms. I chose this product based on the positive reviews and affordable cost. Stripe has been taking this supplement for about a year now and hasn't suffered from one upper respiratory infection! We have saved countless money on vet visits and even his acid reflux and nasal noises have significantly subsided. Whenever we miss a dose, I notice a big difference. I'm forever grateful we found this amazing product and to my vet for recommending it! I even gave it to my other two non-FIV cats when they were displaying cold symptoms and I was heading out of town. My boyfriend notified me that their sneezing had stopped and they seemed to be turning the corner. I highly recommend this product. 4 people found this helpful Helpful Report abuse Donna V. 5.0 out of 5 stars Immune hero for ferals Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 3, 2023 Size: 8 OZColor: WhiteVerified Purchase I noticed a few of my usual backyard feral cats had goopy eyes & were hacking. I started giving this to them 2x week & both seemed to clear up in a short time. Maybe they would have anyway, but I figure it can't hurt to give them a little bit of help. Helpful Report abuse Marie Antoinette 5.0 out of 5 stars It works Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 10, 2022 Size: 8 OZColor: WhiteVerified Purchase Two of my cats overcame respiratory issues and also sinus infection in one thanks to this. I only knew about Lysine because someone told me. If your cat's sneezing, has mouth sores, and is feverish please please get this immediately. 1/8 teaspoon twice a week mixed in food (a teaspoon or two of food so your cat will eat it all then give it the rest of the food). Even if your cat has been sick a long while this might save its life or, if not, at least make its last days more comfortable by subduing the infection. I'm speaking from experience here. But the sooner you can use this after symptoms begin the better. And I want to add one more thing unrelated to this product. Dental issues can cause the above symptoms so adding a dental additive to the cats' drinking water to clean their mouths is a good step toward health. I recently purchased Dental Fresh and my cats accepted it at once. They know it's there and I've even added it right under their noses. I see them drinking water more frequently now. It's not addictive--it must feel good and certainly hydration does. **Q: Do cats like these?** A: I have a dog that is sort of picky (probably as picky as a cat). I use a mortar to break up the tablets and it it in her food. For a dog that is pushing 13, she has gotten so much more active since taking these. What a wonderful product! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for senior dogs. *by A***X on April 2, 2026* As all Now product, very good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for our Great Dane! *by J***L on June 7, 2026* Great value! He’s generally very healthy and active, but we noticed he was starting to slow down a little: laying around more, not as active as usual on his walks, shaking in the hips when he squatted, etc. After a month of taking this supplement daily, he’s back to his old bouncy self! I‘m really impressed by how much he’s visibly improved in such a short time. Also, he actually likes taking the pills! I toss it to him like it’s a treat and he gobbles it down no problem! ## Frequently Bought Together - NOW Foods Pet Health, Joint Support Supplement, Formulated for Cats & Dogs, NASC Certified, 90 Chewable Tablets - NOW Foods® Pets, UC-II® Advanced Joint Mobility for Dogs and Cats, Veterinarian formulated, Help Maintain Cartilage and Connective Tissue*, 60 Chewable Tablets (60 Grams) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/23154047-pet-health-joint-support-supplement-cats-and-dogs-90-chewable](https://www.desertcart.us/products/23154047-pet-health-joint-support-supplement-cats-and-dogs-90-chewable) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
