It is a little chewy for a baby so I cut it into small sections for now. Her toilet habits are regular and she is growing well just on this food. It’s an easy feed especially if you have someone tending your reptile who is squeamish about insects. The only drawback is it is a bit pricey for the amount given. Hope this helps someone!

**Q: How's many to a pack or box?**
A: You get one 2.11 gel pouch per package, and in this specific listing, order.

**Q: How long can this stay good without refrigeration? I forgot to refrigerate after opening. I only use when out of bugs**
A: It depends, did you touch it? If your using sterile instruments to remove the gel... Awhile, if not I'd give it an hour or two left out at room temp before bacteria start really growing. If you leave it out and seal it with out transfering germs, it'll be a little more mushy, but not damaging.

**Q: Do you warm the food before feeding your gecko?**
A: No, feed it cold to maintain form and prevent growth of bacteria, etc. Additionally, this will drop the body temp. of whatever cold blooded animal you are feeding it to and ensure they engage in whatever basking/heating method to raise their body heat and digest the food as quickly as possible. Just remember to give them access to heat.

**Q: Can i give this to an anole lizard? she is special and can’t eat bugs. i have to make a paste for her to eat and wonder if this would be good.**

Just got this today. My Leo girl willingly took it! Not once but twice! There was also no odor. The consistency could honestly be a little better. It likes to stay together and stay in the pouch. I also had to roll it up in my hands into little worm shapes because it doesn’t come out like that, which was honestly kinda gross. But it didn’t smell at all, so it’s fine. My Leo is a picky eater, and has been super spoiled on wax worms, so I am surprised she likes this! I will update the review if something changes, as this is the first feeding with it. I also wish there were more clear instructions about how much to serve. Here’s a photo of her emerging from her hide because she wants more, lol.
