A: Yes, it's true; mine broke after 1 wearing. The sole came away from the toe on the right shoe after 1 hours' cycling. I just had to pay to get them repaired, but I don't know how long they will last, if at all.

**Q: According to the size chart i need size 9 (eu44) for a 27cm foot but all my other shoes are eu size 41.  if they are true to size i would need eu 41?**

I bought a pair of these last summer because I wanted something lighter weight. I usually wear 5 Tens but as good as they are they're a bit heavy and clumpy for hotter weather, not to mention the price. So I thought I'd take a punt on a pair of these because at the price even if they didn't last too long it wasn't going to be a major issue. So the first thing is I found the sizing accurate and a nice fit. The velcro straps and ratchet do up nicely without pinching your foot and they're light to wear. The sole isn't as firm as my F.T's but at a quarter of the price not a problem. The sole has been surprisingly resistant to sharp pedal pins with only minimal marking and dents. I have since bought a second pair in white. All in all a good budget shoe that is surprisingly good. I would recommend these.
