The Ontario Knife M9 Bayonet Is A Fixed Blade Bayonet And One Of The Few American Made Bayonets Available Today. The 7" Plain Edge Blade Is Thick With A .24" Blade Thickness And A Flat Bevel Grind And An Hrc Of 53-57. A Zinc Phosphate Finish Over The 420 Modified Stainless Steel Is Tough And Corrosion Resistant. The Ontario Knife M9 Bayonet Is Complimented By A 5-1/4 Kraton Handle. The Ontario Knife M9 Bayonet Has A Well-Rounded Overall Length At 12.25". The Ontario Knife M9 Bayonet Carries With A Black Glass Filled Nylon Sheath Which Features A Bianchi Clip. Adopted In 1984 As A Replacement For The M7 Bayonet, The M9 Bayonet From Ontario Knife Company Is The Real Deal, Just Like The M9 Issued To Our Military. **Q: will it fit my mossberg 590 A**
A: It sure will fit the 590-A.

A: Mine came with the "Pooty Tang"

**Q: Again, does it fit, without rattling, a Colt LE6920SOCOM, M4A1, with a 16" barrel?**
A: Although the Colt LE6920 comes with a bayonet lug, there is currently no commercially available bayonet that will fit it. When you attach the M-9 bayonet, you'll see the bayonet support ring is resting several inches back from the tip of the barrel. It should rest at the base of the flash suppressor with the entire blade portion beyond the barrel tip. As for a barrel extender, I don't know what that would do to the bullets flight characteristics.

**Q: one of the comments here left me very confused.  so, will it fit a LE6920SOCOM or not?**
A: ALL bayonets made for any AR or M4 style rifle ONLY fits 14.5 inch and 20 inch barrels period. Any other length BBL will not fit your bayonet properly.
