The other thing is that the different plugs (especially the transformer type plugs) can be awkward to fit in a certain way and leave the wires all over the place. Standard extension sockets can also be a problem if you have pets that like to go behind the furniture and risk lying on the electric sockets or worse! This AUOPLUS tower is ideal because it is vertical and cylindrical. It actually looks bigger in the pictures than it is, so to get an idea it is only 6 inches high and about 3.5 inches wide. So it actually saves a lot of space and can easily stand upright on a small table without looking out of place (see pictures).
