It's the only product I've found that immediately stops the itch from bug bites and mild hives. Our little neighbor friends call it "magic lotion" because it stops the itch of mosquito bites immediately. I use it for mild hives, and nothing else comes close to the instant relief it provides. A little goes a long way, too. It has calamine in it, so it's not meant to be moisturizing, but it is soothing in addition to stopping itch. It would probably be great for poison ivy as well.
