Review: Gets all the loose hair/ easy on their backbone - I have had this brush/comb 2.5 years now. I have 5 big dogs and 2 are long haired and two long haired cats. When I pull the brush out and head for the patio I have a line of ducklings behind me - they LOVE their brush time. This is the best pet comb I have ever used. It gets all the loose hair and detangles good. When I am done I could make another dog from the hair I remove. You just gently brush and it gets the job done. Be careful over their backbones it really takes no pressure. This comb catches the hair and detangles any tangles without too much pressure put into the pull. The tines get down to the skin easily on the ats and even my long thick haired pups. It helps with shedding as it gets rid of all that hair outside. I comb often and they love it. The cats get in between me and the dog that I am brushing insisting their turn is next. The handle is easy to hold and the brush is well-made. It is well worth the price.

**Q: Is this good for removing burrs**
A: I don’t know about burrs but I know it works wonders in my Himalayan cats fur balls!

**Q: Does this work well for a Siberian husky?**
A: I use it on my cats and they are in love with it!! Tons of fur is removed and it works great.  

I think it may be too small for a furry husky though.  The teeth of the brush are pretty close together and might pull on the dogs fur. If you can find one made specifically for dogs it would probably work better but you could try this one.  Ya never know. You can always return it if it doesn't work well. 

My cats love it though!

**Q: I have a smaller lab (short coat & undercoat), but the large seems too big. Any reason the small size won't work?**
A: I have a lab and bout the large sized.  It remves so much undercoat it's crazy. I took her outside and spent 20 minutes working on her and couldn't believe the amount of hair I removed,  the small would have taken too long. I took her out 3 times before I got most of her undercoat raked out. Now I don't have her hair floating in every corner of my house.  LOVE this comb.

**Q: How wide is the large size?**
A: I’m not exactly sure, but we use it on our 100lb. German Shepard and it’s wide enough to go pretty much straight down her back. I also have the smaller one for the cats. Hope that helps. Great product, wish I had bought it sooner!

Wow! This brush is amazing. I have a long hair cat that came home with five mats on her belly. This brush got them out without hurting her.
